Not Interested

I think we've decided that if Mo REALLY wanted to - he could walk.  But, frankly, I just don't think he is that interested.  You see, he IS the fastest crawler in the West and he gets everywhere he needs to go lickety split - so why walk?  At least, I think that is what he is thinking.  I am not worried but I'd like to see him walk - if for no other reason than I am always having to wash off those dirty hands everywhere we go.  He LOVES crawling and I let him crawl basically everywhere - even on really dirty floors.  Gross.  So, we are trying to hold his hand more (he doesn't like it) and make time for him to walk around with the baby-walker that Gigi got him.  I think you'll agree that the walker isn't really doing the walking - Mo is!  I think he is going to be off and running in no time!

Looking great Mo! Silas was 13 and a half month or so-- and looked a lot like this pushing a little cart right before he started walking. He was also a really fast crawler and didn't seem in too much of a hurry to walk. Then he just surprised us and went for it!

Olivia didn't start walking until 15 months. Her pediatrician assured me that she would not be crawling down the aisle at here wedding!

Mine didn't walk until after 15 mos, and I know plenty who waited until after 18 mos. I say no rush when you are the fastest crawler in the west and so darn adorable.

I want one of those... At 70, I think I could really make use of that! Wait!!! Wouldn't that be called a walker? Oh, dear....

Devin waited until 16 months. She just wanted to be sure she could do it properly before doing it. She just took off running one day. No falls, no head bumps. She's very practical that one. She, too, was a crazy fast crawler. Mo's just biding his time...he's totally doing the walking, not that walker! Go Mo go!! xoxo

Catherine and Madeleine walked late too - it doesn't mean anything or matter, except you get to do more interesting toddler classes once they're up on their feet :)
